I know you are getting tired of me writing about my fantastic Bar/Bat Mitzvah kids but this one was really special and a challenge! He was NOT interested in flashy parities, dancers or loud DJ music- he wanted a luncheon with his family and he wanted it to be tree themed. Period.
His parents wanted it to be more than just a post-service kiddish where people eat a bagel and dash- boy did they get their wish- guests hung out until 4pm chatting, laughing and having another mimosa!
Here are some photos of the room, because of shabbat I am not able to show you photos of the actual party but believe me the room was filled with smiling friends, one proud family and a very happy Bar Mitzvah boy.
Each centerpiece was different with 7-10 little terra cotta potted plants, hand written table number and little tags inviting the guests to take a plant home as a gift from the event. It was personal, hand made and just lovely.
The catering was expertly done by Steve Ruebenfeld of Pride Caterers, each dish had a hand written card identifying it and was placed perfectly so the buffets were over flowing with yummy things to choose from- people filled their plates over and over again! Yum!
Thank you to Gustavo Campos for the super photography!
