There really isn’t anything better than fantastic clients whose only mission is to throw the most over-the-top, gorgeous company holiday party ever! By the end of the night it was the best party I’ve ever thrown and set a new bar for their company’s holiday party AND Florie Huppert Design!
It started as a “soft” 1920s theme but quickly exploded into a full Great Gatsby/ Boardwalk Empire extravaganza! Complete with a casino, costumes and a killer live band.
The guests arrived at the completely gorgeous Edison Ballroom by limo or NYC covered double-decker bus. After ascending a flight of marble stairs they were met with a check-in/costume station with cigarette girls who gave them satin pouches with 50K for gambling, pearls, hats, bow ties and all kinds of super swag!
Next the guests were invited into a casino style speakeasy with card games, icy drinks and yummy hor d’oeuvres.
For the downstair’s decor I wanted to inspire a romantic the 20’s Boardwalk Empire style party scene- a little glitter, opulent black ostrich feathers and hand cut confetti – just to start!
Once everyone was dressed and in the mood the real party started! The best event band on earth Soul Solution together with emcee David Waterman, both from Total Entertainment, took the whole party to the next level and whipped the crowd into a happy frenzy. Everyone danced all night long…….
These are just a few of my favorite pictures. The amazing photographer Kari Otero took hundreds of amazing shots. Thank you for sharing!
Thank you to the fantastic Sean Campbell at Edison Ballroom for letting me take over his venue and make a huge glitter and confetti mess!
And thank you, to the best clients, who gave me their trust and sent me off to throw them a the best party of the year!
Happy New Year!
